ABOUT AXON
Training, informed by real industry experience..
I’ve spent over 40 years working across construction and fitness.
On site. On the tools. In machines.
And I’ve seen first-hand what that kind of work does to the body over time.
Construction background
I started as a general labourer and hod carrier, moved into demolition, then into groundworks and machine driving.
Later, I ran my own tiling, bathroom refurbishment, and decorating business.
Because of that, I understand the real demands of the job:
Long hours and travel
Cold, wet, and challenging site conditions
Prolonged time in machine cabs
Repetitive physical tasks
Pressure from deadlines and management
Over time, these take their toll — not just physically, but in terms of fatigue, consistency, and injury risk.
Where this comes from
Throughout my career, I’ve always prioritised staying fit and capable.
Not for sport.
Not for appearance.
But to stay reliable, productive, and able to keep working.
Axon Fitness is built on that foundation.
What this approach is designed to do
Reduce injury risk
Improve movement and work capacity
Help your body handle long hours and repetitive work
Support long-term physical capability
The aim is simple:
Keep you fit for work and life — while reducing unnecessary wear and tear over time.
Professional training & coaching
Alongside my construction career, I formalised my fitness knowledge through professional training.
Qualified Personal Trainer
Nutritional Coach
Training in anatomy and physiology
Progressed to Senior Trainer level
I’ve also worked as a 1-to-1 coach, adapting training to suit different people, abilities, and working lifestyles.
What makes this different
This isn’t theory-based fitness.
It’s built from:
Real-world construction experience
Practical, hands-on coaching
An understanding of how people actually live and work
The result is training that is:
Practical and structured
Built around real work demands
Adaptable to the individual
Delivered to a professional standard
This is about staying strong, mobile, and capable — not just now, but for the long term
